We like to build custom one-of-a-kind pieces, shown below are a few examples of our capabilities.

Martha Stewart meets Monster Garage...Rod Holm of Quality Collision in Ironwood, MI commissioned us to customize his Martha Stewart patio furniture. We made a new polymer coated checkered flag top, re3placed the fabric panels with aluminum diamond plate, added chrome foot rails , painted everything bright red and changed the chair fabric which features his garage logo. Curt Jacobson did the fabric replacement work. " Thanks Rod..for giving us the creative freedom to do what we do best"

Custom 8' bars commissioned by Volkswagen to be used at the Playboy Super Bowl Party in Detroit in 2006. The bars featured custom blue cabinets with frosted plexiglass panels, chrome footrails and chrome accents. One bar had a GTI logo painted, the other had 2) cut-outs with plexiglass inserts so that X-box games could be played at the bar during the party. We also made 4) 60's era steering wheel end tables for the party.

We were commissioned to build several pieces for the new Hudson's Classic Grill in Escanaba, Michigan. We cut up a dead 51 Hudson Commodore 6 and used the doors, dashboard, front end and rear end. We also made a custom polymer coated logo top for the hostess station and made 33' of custom clip-art and polymer coated bar top. If you are ever in Escanaba, stop in and have a bite and a beer.

57 Chevy Belair wall hanging. Rick Burke of Barrington IL. commissioned us to build this custom mantle for his fireplace. As you can see, the trunk area was notched to allow for placement of a plasma TV.

Vintage VW Bus wall hanging built for Volkswagen. We were commissioned to build this wall hanging for their party at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah in 2005.

Liquor bottle cabinet built for Romeo's Bar and Grill in Ironwood Michigan. The cabinet is built from the front clip of a 56 Chevy. The finished piece has a mirrored back, overhead halogen lighting and a lighted glass shelf system for the liquor bottles.

Custom display cabinets built for Manny Proenza. Manny has a 02 Thunderbird and Anniversary Corvette and has many collectibles for each. We painted the cabinets with the correct paint colors and added matching emblems. The cabinets feature halogen lighting, adjustable glass shelves and mirrored backs.

Coca Cola Humidor. Jason Slover of Peculiar MO commissioned us to convert his vintage coke cooler into a combination humidor and wine bottle rack. The humidor has a glass front, 2) drawers and a solid maple top that is held open by gas struts. The interior is lined with Spanish Cedar. The Bottom section holds 18 bottles of wine.

Custom Bar top made for Chris Gregor from Willowbrook IL. Chris sent us a pattern from his existing bar top and had us make this awesome American and checkered flag graphic. The top is Oak plywood, handpainted and coated with polymer and was 10' x 3'

Custom display cabinet made with 57 Chevy hood. The cabinet is made from solid maple and featured glass doors, glass shelves, lighting and mirror back. The hood lid opens up to reveal a storage area.

53 Hudson front end wall hanging made for Hudson's Grill in DePere, WI. This wall hanging features working headlights, parking lights and center Hudson logo.

We made this plywood Rolls Royce limo for the Bessemer High School Junior Prom. The car was mounted against a wall with a trap door, when the couple was announced, a chaufer opened the back door and the couple walked down the red carpet.

Custom black and white cabinet made to display an autographed GTI hood. The GTI was parked inside of the Playboy Magazine party at the Detroit Super Bowl Party. The celebrities and playmates at the party autographed the hood and it was sold that night as a silent auction item. We were commissioned to fabricate the cabinet and ship the piece directly to the winning bidder.

Custom cherry cabinet that holds a 2006 VW Touareg hood that was autographed at VW's party at the Sundance Film Festival. About 50 celebrities signed the hood including, Robert Redford, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Anniston, Matt Dillon, Wilmer Valderama and Efren Ramirez ( Pedro). The hood and cabinet were auctioned off on ebay with all proceeds supporting the film festival.

Custom Maple display cabinet built for an autographed VW Jetta hood. VW parked a new Jetta outside of their 2005 Sundance Film Festival party in Park City Utah, as the celebrities entered the party, they autographed the hood. After the party the hood was clearcoated and auctioned on Ebay. They commissioned us to build the custom maple cabinet and ship the piece to the winning bidder. Over 80 celebrities signed the hood including Robert Redford, Paris & Nicky Hilton, Carmen Elecktra & Ted Danson

SEMI-CUSTOM PIECES

WOODIE DISPLAY CABINET. We like woodies...there is something about dark colors with mahogany and maple panels. Our woodie display cabinet is one of the first in our new line of woodie inspired furniture. Inside the cabinet, the sides, top and bottom are painted plywood with holes for adjustable glass shelves. The outside of the cabinet has maple framing and mahogany panels. The toe kick area is painted plywood with horizontal oval chrome plated steel bars. The head unit is made of plywood and sheetmetal and features 3) inlaid polished aluminum spears. The interior has a mirrored back, halogen lighting and 3) 1/4" tempered glass shelves. Tempered glass door is available for an additional $ 100.00. The cabinet is 22" wide, 15" deep and overall height is 64", weight is approx.100 lbs. The cabinet shown at left features maple trim with burgundy paint. We can also use white ash framing and can paint the cabinet any color you want at no extra cost. 57 CHEVY HOOD DISPLAY CABINET We have transformed an original 57 Chevy hood into a truly unique display cabinet. The center of the hood, between the rocket humps is removed and boxed in to produce a 25"w x 38"h x 8 1/2"d display area. Adjustable shelf brackets are recessed into the sides. The cabinet includes a strip light, mirror back, 4) glass shelves and glass doors. The hood bar is either a re-chromed original or a reproduction, the rockets are reproduction, the vee and script are restored originals. This cabinet will beat anything else on the market for coolness and originality. We will paint it any color you want. The overall size is 45"w x 58"h x 13"d. estimated weight is # 145lbs. DOOR DISPLAY CABINET. Want a truly unique display cabinet. Order one of our door display cabinets. We take an original door, strip all of the guts to make it lighter and totally restore the remainder. The center is cut out and boxed in to form a display area. We add adjustable glass shelves and a mirrored back. These cabinets are awesome and would look great anywhere. We do have limited availability on certain models. BENCHES. We know what you are thinking...."can you really sit on these benches".. the answer is yes. Not only are they extremely cool, they are also very usable. We take original or reproduction hood and trunk lids and surround them with solid wood sides and backs to give you a guaranteed conversation piece for your office or showroom. The bench at left above is made from an original 55 chevy hood and has solid pine sides and back Price..$ 995.00. The bench at right above is made from a reproduction 65 Mustang fastback trunk lid and has solid oak sides and back. Price..$ 1095.00. VW ENGINE LID WALL SHELVES. Here's one for the bug lovers... We take original bug engine lids and fabricate them into wall mounted shelves. We even replace the license plate light with a working 110 volt light. I like to call it "the worlds most expensive night light". Because there are several styles of lids for different years, availability and price varies. The unit shown at left above features a early 70's lid with a simple maple shelf. Price as shown $ 395.00. The unit at right above features an early 60's lid and has a maple shelf unit with drawer. Price as shown $ 595.00. HOOD LID CEDAR CHEST. We like to call these the coolest cedar chests on earth. We use original hoods for the lids and wood for the rest. The interior is lined with real cedar, the lid stays open with use of lid supports. The piece shown at left features a 57 Cadillac hood and medium oak cabinetry. We can get many makes and models and can paint the lid any color you want. We can also use maple, birch, cherry and white ash for the cabinetry. Prices vary based on the cost of the hood and emblems. STORAGE TRUNKS. If you are looking for a unique way to store games, blankets, etc. this is it. We utilize an original restored trunk lid and the lid and build a wood cabinet. Lid supports hold the lid open for access. This is a very impressive piece...sure to be a real conversation piece. The size is 57" long, 27" deep and 25" high. Roller casters are mounted on the bottom for mobility. Weight is approx. 100 lbs. The piece shown at left features a 57 Chevy trunk lid.
